About the hut
“Septemvri” Hut is your second home in the mountains, nestled in the majestic mixed forest of Vitosha.
Cozy and warm hospitality, delicious home-cooked food and the opportunity to get away from the hectic city life to recharge with energy from the fresh forest air await you here.

On weekdays, we invite you to a Remote Mountain Office – a chance to work comfortably in the fresh air and enjoy an invigorating walk in the mountains on your lunch break.
Fast and stable WiFi, access to electricity for every table, delicious food and most importantly an inspiring change of scenery, cosy inside in winter and spacious outside in summer.

Routes
Vitosha offers countless trails, but we have selected 11 routes that will show you the mountain in its full charm.
Whether you’re looking for a short walk in the forest with the kids, or you’re ready for an all-day climb to the top of Cherni Vrh – you’ll find something just for you.
The routes pass through huts, shelters, peaks and hidden places, some well known, others almost secret. The details of each route, as well as GPS tracks – GPX , can be found on our website and followed directly via your phone or downloaded and loaded into Strava or a similar app.
Our menu
Food at our hut is more than a meal — it’s part of the mountain experience. We cook with high-quality ingredients and recipes shaped by both heritage and adventure.
Our restaurant welcomes guests from 8:30 to 21:30.
Breakfast is served until 10:30.
A place for little adventurers
In Septemvri Hut children are our favourite guests. Our children’s playground is always open and offers a cosy space with selected games and toys for indoor fun.
Please note that there is no animator and parents are responsible for supervising their children.
Rope tree line
We have a zip line suitable for children over 6 years old / 115 cm tall and adults up to 120 kg.
It has a ticket priced at €10 per ride and can only be used in suitable weather conditions.

Accommodation
Discover comfortable accommodation, combined with cosiness and a refreshing view of the Vitosha forests.
Access
During the winter season, vehicle access to Vitosha Nature Park is restricted.
- From the Boyana neighborhood to the Zlatnite Mostove (Golden Bridges) area.
- From the Dragalevtsi neighborhood to Aleko Hut.
Period: from December 1 to March 31
When it applies: Saturdays, Sundays, and official public holidays.
Time interval: from 11:00 to 16:00.
Summer season
April 1 – November 30 There is no restriction on access to Vitosha Nature Park and the hut by car.
Winter season
December 1 – March 31
Vehicle access to Vitosha Nature Park is restricted.
Access with car and parking
The hut is accessible by car.
There is NO designated parking; you park on the side of the road that leads to the hut.

Bus lines 61 and 63 go up to Zlatni Mostove (Golden Bridges), from where the hut is a 20-30 min walk away.
